CFD involves the systematic application of computing systems and computational solution techniques to mathematical models formulated to describe and simulate fluid dynamic and heat phenomena. CFD is currently being used to address challenges in climate change, weather forecasting, large dataset manipulation and analysis, wastewater treatment, flooding and urban diffuse pollution from stormwater runoff and other wet-weather-induced flow sources, manufacturing, health, sports, aeronautics, hydropower generation etc. The training will employ open-source tools such as OpenFOAM, Salome, FreeCAD, Paraview etc.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><strong>Course Content<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to Linux<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to CFD<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to FreeCAD software<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to OpenFOAM software<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to Salome software<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Introduction to ParaView software<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Tutorial exercises in CFD<\/p>\n<p>It is expected that participants will finish the training with the requisite skill and knowledge to meet the challenges in the CFD world.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><strong>Training Materials<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">All training materials will be provided.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"text\">No prior knowledge of programming and statistical data analysis is required.
