Ing. Dr Emmanuel K. Nyantakyi is a Geological Resources Expert. His main areas of research are Applications of Landmark in the analysis of Seismic data and Geosec Software in Geological modelling. He also has interests in Oil, Gas and Mining Wastes Management as well as Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and currently the Partnership Coordinator for RCEES. He is a Council member and the Branch Chair of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) in the Bono, Ahafo & Bono East Region. He represents the Ghana Institution of Engineering on the Entity Tender Committee for the Middle Belt Development Authority, consisting of 5 regions, namely Eastern, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo.

Area of Interest

My main research interests are in applications of Landmark in the analysis of Seismic data and Geosec Software in Geological modelling used in determining structures capable of oil and gas. I also have interests in Oil, Gas and Mining Wastes Management. Further areas of interests are Structural and Petroleum Geology, Oil and Gas Storage Transportation, Geochemistry, Sedimentology.
