Eric is a scholar and PhD candidate of the West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL). He holds a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Climate Change and Energy from the University of Cape Coast and the Universite Abdou Moumouni de Niamey, respectively. At EORIC he is an Assistant Research Fellow with a specialization in GIS and Remote Sensing with climate applications. His research areas of interest cover Climate change, Risk analysis and Sustainability assessment, multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDM), and more recently GIS and Remote Sensing Applications for Water-Energy-Food Nexus assessment. Eric’s previous work experience includes collaboration with Rockwinds and International Research for Development (IRD) for the evaluation of satellite and reanalysis products for seasonal climate forecast for the Cocoa belt of West Africa. He also built sustainability assessment indicators for adapting energy infrastructure to climate change and extreme weather events. Eric is a recipient of the Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) scholarship program to study on Coursera.
