Course Description

The evolution of new technology and related services in the Satellite Industry requires professional skills and knowledge for Engineers, Scientists Technicians, Installers, and Entrepreneurs in the Industry. This course takes a practical and simplified approach to equip the trainees with the requisite skills and knowledge in “Satcom Ground Station Engineering” a major segment of the Satellite Industry

Course Content

Module One (Theory Session)

• Introduction to SATCOM
• SATCOM Fundamentals
• Practical Skills for SATCOM professionals

Module Two (Practical Session)

• DTH Terminal Installation and Maintenance
• VSAT Terminal Installation and Maintenance

Course Expected Outcome

A comprehensive overview of Space/Satellite Industry, Practical skill and knowledge required of professionals working in the industry especially in satellite ground segment, Practical skill in installation and maintenance of DTH and VSAT terminals.

• Monday – Friday; 5 Days & Time: 10 am – 5 pm each day
