The High-Performance Computing Laboratory of the Earth Observation Research and Innovation Center (EORIC)-UENR invites all and sundry especially professionals to a training program on Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). CFD involves the systematic application of computing systems and computational solution techniques to mathematical models formulated to describe and simulate fluid dynamic and heat phenomena. CFD is currently being used to address challenges in climate change, weather forecasting, large dataset manipulation and analysis, wastewater treatment, flooding and urban diffuse pollution from stormwater runoff and other wet-weather-induced flow sources, manufacturing, health, sports, aeronautics, hydropower generation etc. The training will employ open-source tools such as OpenFOAM, cfMesh, Paraview etc.
