Ing. Dr. Martin Domfeh is a Research Fellow with the Earth Observation Research and Innovation Centre (EORIC) of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Sunyani, Ghana. At EORIC, he serves as the coordinator of the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modelling and the High-Performance Computing Section in addition to coordinating training programs, short courses, workshops and seminars. Martin also serves as a facilitator in several short courses in CFD. Dr. Domfeh also lectures a number of undergraduate courses in addition to supervising students in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering as well as Energy and Petroleum Engineering. Martin also supervises & teaches post-graduate students under the Regional Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES) Programme-UENR. He holds a BSc. Civil Engineering and MSc. Water Resources Engineering and Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and PhD. Sustainable Energy Management from UENR. Martin is a Commonwealth Scholar with a one-year split-site research study experience in CFD from the University of Exeter, UK. Dr. Domfeh was part of the team that won a GHc245,000 Skill Development Fund Support to provide Advanced Fire Information System alerts for farmers. He currently has over 10 publications in some peer-reviewed journals. His research interest is in CFD, Hydropower Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
