GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS WITH R - EORIC
Description
Earth scientists make observations and gather data about the natural processes that operate on planet Earth. This process of exploring the Earth involves the acquisition and analysis of numerical data. An earth scientist, therefore, needs to have a firm understanding of statistical and visualization tools to be able to do adequate analysis. R has become a popular software used to analyze and visualize acquired Earth science data. This training is therefore targeted at equipping professionals and students with the relevant skills in R for Earth Science data analysis and visualization.

Target Group
The workshop is developed for students and professionals, which include a staff of the Ministries, Researchers, NGOs, Engineers and all interested in the use of Earth science data analysis and visualization.

Participants at end of the training would have developed technical skills on the use of R software for Earth science data analysis and visualization.
