Ing. Dr Emmanuel K. Nyantakyi is a Geological Resources Expert. His main research areas are applications of landmarks in the analysis of seismic data and geosec software in geological modelling. He also has interests in Oil, Gas and Mining waste management and Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and is currently the Partnership Coordinator for RCEES. He is a Council member and the Branch Chair of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) in the Bono, Ahafo & Bono East regions. He represents the Ghana Institution of Engineering on the Entity Tender Committee for the Middle Belt Development Authority, consisting of 5 regions: Eastern, Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo.

Area of Interest

My main research interests are in the applications of landmarks in analysing seismic data and geosec software in geological modelling used to determine structures capable of oil and gas. I am also interested in oil, gas, and mining waste management. Further areas of interest are Structural and Petroleum Geology, Oil and Gas Storage Transportation, Geochemistry, and Sedimentology.
